The Annual Fund raises $317,000 in support of Grebel's unique programs
In many of her initial meetings President, Susan Schultz Huxman has observed that, "when I look at the priority for resourcing colleges, it is clear to me that we start with funding people first, then programs and finally facilities.” The Annual Fund addresses the first two of these priorities — 9% of the Grebel operating budget depends on the Annual Fund and other donations and revenue. Your support is critical to keep Grebel a special place!
Each year, regular donations from loyal donors and alumni support the operating budget that funds bursaries and scholarships to students, subsidizes programs like our PACS Internships and Noon Hour Concert series, and helps support our Chaplain and other leadership development initiatives.
Our Library and Archives are a rich resource for our students and the broader community. However, the revenue from “Late Fees” does not offset the expenses to operate the program or purchase new books. The Annual Fund helps fill that critical funding gap.
Conrad Grebel also takes leadership in providing pastoral training in our graduate Theological Studies program and provides the infrastructure for the Toronto Mennonite Theological Centre, which was the dream and passion of the late Prof. Jim Reimer. The Annual Fund helps support this important venture.
Donations to the Annual Fund make resources available for people in all of these programs. The enriched program at Grebel is only possible through your support of the Annual Fund.

Ontario Trust for Student Support top
For an increasing number of students, a student award can make the difference in whether or not they come to the University of Waterloo and Conrad Grebel. You can help these students achieve their goal.
The College has established a number of endowment funds to provide bursaries for students in financial need. You can help increase these funds and assist these students, while having your donation matched in partnership with the Ontario Trust for Student Support (OTSS).
Every dollar you donate will receive $1 in matching funds from the provincial government. These funds will be invested in a permanent endowment and earnings will be used by Grebel's Scholarships and Bursaries Committee to assist students in financial need.
Thank you for your interest in helping students achieve their dream of a post-secondary education while benefiting from Grebel’s unique academic programs and welcoming environment.
Your support for the Ontario Trust for Student Support will make it possible for students to:
• participate in our residence and academic programs
• graduate with less debt
• study full-time without finding part-time employment
NOTE This program ends on March 31, 2012

These values are expressed in and through the College’s programs.
Conrad Grebel University College challenges and inspires mind and spirit through both its academic and residence programs.
The College offers a rich variety of undergraduate courses in Arts and is home to the University’s BA programs in both Music and Peace and Conflict Studies. A graduate program in Theological Studies engages students in the study of faith and spirituality and prepares them for church ministries or doctoral studies. The library and archives support the College’s teaching and research, particularly in music, peace, and Mennonite studies.
Grebel’s residential and student services programs build a unique sense of community by providing a supportive and stimulating environment for personal, social, intellectual, and spiritual growth and leadership development.
